The Buildings gallery documents the history of construction (& demolition) projects at Big Creek Homestead over the past 30+ years. Starting with a tar-papered shack without plumbing or wiring and a bunch of falling down outbuildings, a series of renovations and new construction projects was undertaken and continues today. Most of the wood used for these projects was grown, harvested, and milled on the property.
All the photos this gallery were shot at Big Creek Homestead, the photographer’s home near Marquette in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
