Spurred on by the warming climate, outdoor recreation and other forms of tourism have become a major growth industries in the UP. This trend constitutes both opportunities and threats to UP communities, human and other-than-human. The Outdoor Recreation gallery highlights ways that people relate to nature in the UP and considers how both can benefit.
